Tables are centred on the values of HOPE:
Host – This is about creating a loving, Kingdom environment. It is everyone’s responsibility to host, not just the owner of the living room. Open – This is a vital value for a healthy church: are we opening our tables to newcomers? If we can’t open our Table to people within the church, we won’t open our Table for people outside the church. Begin to think about which 2-4 people could help facilitate a new group when you grow.Pray – Inviting Jesus into our lives through prayer should be central to all aspects of what we do. There are many ways to do this, so be creative!Eat – Whether a full meal, a bit of cake or a cheese and wine night, there is something beautiful and Biblical about sharing food. We want to encourage you to eat together in the context of prayer and 1 Corinthians 11 – remember Jesus, give thanks and enjoys other’s company in the form of an Agape Meal.
